Capo Crudo

"Food and service were very good. Ambience is unparalled". "Greatviewsbytheseaandeasyparking".

Capo Crudo is a fusion of avant garde, chic and classy with a relaxed lounge vibe. From its nook by the sea at the foot of the Valletta bastions, a few metres past the ferry docks in Marsamxett harbour, Capo Crudo delights with its tasteful décor and dreamy views. During lunchtime, weather permitting, sailing boats glide by on the gorgeous blue canvas of the Mediterranean. In the evening, Manoel Island’s single lamp adds a touch of intrigue to the old hospital island, contrasting with the restaurant’s contemporary interiors of whites and beiges and elegant furniture. During the warmer seasons the restaurant’s canopy is pulled back to reveal breathtaking views of Valletta’s bastions taking the concept of al fresco dining to an unmatched level.

Staff at Capo Crudo are sharp and attentive. Every item on the menu is a playful and exciting tribute to the senses. For starters the degustation of tartare featuring tuna, salmon and swordfish is a delicate concoction, while the degustation of crudos brings a touch of vibrant colour and texture to the table. Their choice of white pearl, Beluga or sturgeon caviar is served with vinegar truffle potato chip, blinis, black garlic crème fraîche and oyster mayo. The Capo Crudo Surf N Turf, beef rib eye and rack of lamb grilled tableside are all 5 star contenders. Complete your meal with a selection of rare and fine cheeses or a sweet treat from Capo Crudo’s stylish dessert offerings.
