Le Regatta

"Beautiful new addition to Senglea! An amazing and inventive French food inspired by the travels of the chef who is an artist."

Right by the water’s edge, chic Le Regatta nestles underneath the stunning Gardiola Gardens of Senglea, one of the three cities. Camouflage netting, invitingly draped over the modest façade, coupled with picture windows create a yachting ambience. Opt for the al fresco option for its tantalizing vicinity to the Mediterranean sea! Furnishing is purposely minimalist – black, comfortable seating under wide, white parasols beckon you to linger and enjoy the spectacular sunset vistas. Modern murals by local talent adorn the indoor walls whilst outside a wrought iron bench facing the sea is ideal for sundowners!

A cosmopolitan chef draws on a wealth of global experience whilst channeling all efforts into his native Marseillaise cuisine with a signature twist, charmingly presented on a pleasingly pointed blackboard menu. Legendary cocktails such as the tangy Le Regatta sunset garnished with wafer thin apple slices draw discerning patrons. Salsa criola elevates Habanero ceviche to uncharted waters. Go north to Rogan Josh marinated lamb lollipops protruding from spinach curry accompanied by tangy pineapple chutney lapped up with steaming paratha. Grilled octopus immersed in a sea of potato foam delights. End on a sweet nutty tiramisu note to crown the Queen of the south experience.
