Butler’s diner

Situated next to the Birgu ferry, Butler’s is a welcomed new addition to the restaurant scene. The large, sheltered terrace overlooks Dockyard Creek Marina, offering a picturesque dining experience. This American-style diner exudes luxury with super comfy booths and dining tables, complemented by a spacious indoor area that retains its architectural charm. Large vaults and arched windows frame views of the terrace and the bustling open kitchen, with breakfast served from 8am. A diverse dinner menu that’s largely prepared from scratch with a great selection of cocktails and international wines constitute a perfect waterside venue.

Indulge in light bites like Prawn or Beef Tacos, garlic breads and fresh, crispy calamari, perfect for starters or sharing. BBQ Chicken Wings, tangy and generous in size, come recommended. Main courses offer irresistible options like Salmon Hollandaise and seabass fillets, but the Tagliata, an impressive 350 grams of steak, stands out. The variety of burgers cater to all tastes, with the Empire Burger reigning supreme, stacked with Black Angus beef, chicken and topped with cheese sauce and crispy onions. Platters to share are vast. The Seafood Boil featuring lobster, octopus, king prawns, and chorizo, is a fish lover’s delight. Pasta and crispy salads are also available. There is also a featured menu for the little ones. Desserts are all made in house – do try the divine Banoffee Pie if you can find the space.
