MÉZ is superbly located in St Julian’s Spinola Bay, commanding stunning views of the sea and boats bobbing up and down on the calming waters. It has ample outdoor seating, a pretty cosy indoor area, and also a fabulous room up the winding staircase for private events. The walls are adorned with prints showcasing the Indian-Malta connection which dates back to when Indian troops were part of the Imperial army, leading to the proliferation of Indian cuisine. MÉZ is on a mission to take its guests on a journey and an adventure to savour these spices in authentic flavourful dishes.

MÉZ uses genuine spices and adheres to original recipes, refusing to commercialise dishes at the expense of taste. For starters, how can you choose just one out of the divine dishes available? Opt instead for a mixed platter to share including succulent Chicken Tikka and tasty Lamb Sheekh – minced lamb skewers, fleshy Tandoori prawns and warm buttery naan bread. Next enjoy the flaky Thai baked fish in coconut milk sauce and spices or the Batak Prawns in cream sauce with a side of basmati rice and some more warm naan – maybe garlic this time! For dessert indulge in a velvety berry Malai made with yoghurt and condensed milk and topped with a compote of berries.
