Qajjenza, just over a year old, is setting new standards for affordable gourmet dining. Nestled by the waters of St George’s Bay, this independent eatery boasts first-class seafood and meat dishes that truly resonate with passion. The restaurant features an inviting outdoor terrace and a spacious interior, creating a relaxed ambiance. The menu, crafted and prepared in-house with five-star flair, offers a diverse array of dishes that excel in both preparation and presentation. An international wine list complements the culinary delights, and the staff’s enthusiasm enhances the overall experience. 

Start your meal with delightful options such as fish soups and focaccia. The fresh, plump mussels come highly recommended, while the crispy Neonati with lime zest and parmesan offers a unique twist. Fresh oysters and prawns are also available for those seeking classic seafood starters. The Prawn Rossi on a bed of burrata is simply delicious, but the real stars are the platters, perfect for sampling langoustine, swordfish, salmon, and prawns together. Larger platters of mixed seafood and meats for two are ideal for sharing. The pasta and risotto dishes are exceptional, with the Fresh Tagliatelle Seafood being a standout dish. Main courses include the mouth-watering Braised Beef, slow-cooked in Guinness for eight hours, Rib-Eye Steak, Crusted Salmon, and Pan-Fried Rabbit, all prepared to perfection. Desserts are limited, but the traditional Imqaret with Vanilla Ice-Cream is the perfect sweet ending.
