The View Bar & Kitchen

Set in the village square of Zebbuġ, with its convenient free parking just opposite, is ‘The View’ restaurant. Upon entering, you are greeted by the bar area and a large indoor dining area all around, also a decent sized al-fresco dining terrace overlooking the valley view for which the restaurant takes its name. An ideal venue for parties of large groups or couples, and solo diners, alike. The ambience is that of a smart/casual establishment, and the styling of the decor is of a more contemporary feel rather than the more traditional Gozitan style.

The menu offers a wide variety of starters including sticky baked aubergine (and pleasingly there are a great variety of salads on the menu. All main courses are served with a choice of side dish included in the price. Chef’s Specials feature Angus beef sirloin with sauce of your choice and brown Meagre as fresh fish of the day. The food is beautifully presented with attention to detail enhancing every plate. Ingredients are locally sourced as much as possible. It’s noteworthy that the menu offers specific vegetarian & vegan options which are truly inspired. Children are catered for with their own simple menu options at €6 each. The great variety of desserts is impossible to resist. An excellent wine list complements the menu offering both local and international wines, as well as cocktails, mocktails, and soft drinks.
