Institute of Tourism Studies joins EcoCook Malta Engaged Program

We are very excited to welcome Malta’s prestigious tourism and hospitality educational institution in joining the #EcoCook Program: ITS Institute of Tourism Studies!

The ITS campus in Luqa, Malta, features two training restaurants and a student/staff canteen. The Voyage Restaurant allows students to develop their culinary, pastry, service, and bar management skills through hands-on training. Open for lunch and dinner, it offers a rotating prix fixe menu showcasing students’ creativity and talent.

At Runway, a Culinary Journey, students gain practical experience in food presentation, beverage preparation, and hospitality service. Guests enjoy a carefully curated three-course menu with freshly baked in-house bread, while students participate in both front-of-house and kitchen training.

The Apron Grab & Go is a training outlet offering quick, hearty meals for students, staff, and visitors, providing valuable real-world experience in fast-service food operations.

“We are thrilled to work with our local partner The Definitive(ly) Good Guide Co – Malta’s most respected gastronomic guide and it’s official portal restaurantsmalta.com – in this collaboration which heads the new EcoCook Malta team”.  ITS
