Country Terrace, Gozo joins EcoCook Malta Program
We are very excited to welcome the first restaurant in Gozo, in joining the EcoCook Malta Program: Country Terrace!
Perched above the crystal-clear waters of Mġarr Harbour in Gozo, Country Terrace is an award-winning Mediterranean restaurant where exceptional gastronomy meets breathtaking panoramic scenery. Housed within a beautifully restored traditional farmhouse, the restaurant offers an elegant dining experience inspired by the island’s rich culinary heritage and the finest seasonal ingredients. Sustainability is at the heart of their philosophy, with a strong commitment to sourcing fresh local produce, supporting regional farmers and fishermen, minimising food waste, and continuously improving environmentally responsible practices without compromising quality.
We are thrilled to work with our local partner The Definitive(ly) Good Guide Co – Malta’s most respected gastronomic guide and it’s official portal restaurantsmalta.com – in this collaboration which heads the new EcoCook Malta team.
This project is supported by the Cross Re-Tour EU Grant, with the Malta Tourism Authority as a key partner, working to bring greener standards to the hospitality and tourism industry.
