With a fantastic view of the bay, Luzzu is a family-friendly establishment perfect for late lunches after a day at the beach or their Lido. The décor is minimalistic beach-side diner. Windows lead on to the balcony maximise the feeling of space in the already quite large dining area. The glass walls allow for natural light to shine through. For a real seaside dining experience, take a table on the balcony, with a panoramic view and relax while the kids enjoy themselves in the play area.
The menu boasts a wide selection of dishes to choose from and includes recipes of some of their favourites so you can try them at home. From snacks and salads to pizza, burgers and pasta, Luzzu has it all. A typical meal could include toasted Maltese bread smothered in garlic, butter and fresh herbs; black shell mussels cooked in garlic, onions, cherry tomatoes, white wine and fresh herbs served with toasted Maltese bread; classic Caesar salad of crispy lettuce, cherry tomatoes, bacon, parmesan shavings, croutons with Caesar dressing on the side. Heartier dishes include a classic burger served in a brioche bun with caramelized onions, lettuce and tomatoes served with fries and slaw, or pork belly with soy and grain mustard sauce. There’s also grilled fresh swordfish, salmon, sea bass and octopus stew. A wide selection of wine, cocktails, beer and non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
