On the gorgeous Senglea promenade, AcquaBlu is truly delightful, with owners Brenda and Matteo at the helm. Chef Patron Matteo has trained and worked with some of Malta’s top chefs and his attention to detail and presentation of dishes is both Instagram-worthy and delightfully tasty. Al fresco dining regales you with impressive views of the Grand Harbour Marina with its superyachts. Plenty of tables can accommodate groups of all sizes. Staff are courteous, efficient and professional.

The menu specialises in locally-sourced fresh fish and seafood. The AcquaBlu antipasto is always a good way to start off your meal, followed by one of the daily fresh fish options cooked either al cartoccio, pan fried or grilled. A thoughtful selection of reasonably-priced wines complement any dish. Desserts are homemade, and the warm chocolate fondant is a great contrast to the flavours of the sea.
