Cargo, housed in antique premises, in the beautiful seaside maritime city of Vittoriosa, also known as Birgu, is nestled between alluring historical buildings such as the Malta Maritime Museum and the old Casino di Venezia on the Vittoriosa waterfront. It offers spacious outdoor seating with large umbrellas commanding amazing views of the Birgu waterfront yacht marina with an entrancing backdrop of Senglea and its stunning church and commanding clock tower. Cargo also has an indoor lounge and bar area and upstairs seating and an outdoor upstairs terrace also enjoying the marvellous view and ideal for private functions. A fun outing would be to get to Cargo by ferry from Valletta!  

Cargo offers a large and varied food—¯and drinks menu, an extensive list of scrumptious desserts and an inviting cocktail happy hour. Kick off your meal with mouth-watering crispy Deep Fried Local Goat’s Cheese on a bed of fresh salad or succulent Local Octopus in Garlic served with yummy crusty garlic bread. Next savour a tender Thai Marinated Chicken Poke Bowl with sticky rice, edamame beans, wakame and pickled ginger or opt to choose something new from the specials like an appetisingly thick Sirloin Steak with your choice of sauce served on a layer of crunchy grilled vegetables and a side of seasoned roast potatoes.
