The selection of wines at Onella are served by the glass along with your meal to ensure that the finest pairings are presented to the esteemed guests of the boutique-interiored 19th-century converted house, right in the parish church’s pjazza.

The menu at Onella is vast and wide, with an ever-changing array of specialities and seasonal bites. A concept here that makes for the perfect evening out – The Onella Experience where dishes are brought out until you tell the servers to stop, all the while with a glass of wine to compliment the flavours of the signature starters such as the homemade Maltese sausage served with caponata, the crispy soy glazed pork belly or the moreish fenkata spring rolls. Their mains are just as captivating, with the Argentinian taking centre stage, especially when a ruby red glass of Markus Divinus’s Adon finds its way to your table, peppery Syrah notes at the ready. And when it’s time to end on something sweet, a glass of Gérard Bertrand Muscat de Rivesaltes to pair with your Mini Mqaret or Vanilla and Orange Panacotta – finding a way to make this experience all the more memorable.
