UMI Sushi/Asian Fusion

UMI means sea and ocean in Japanese. The name reflects the location of the restaurant, opposite the St Paul’s Bay promenade, allowing diners to enjoy the open sea views whilst dining.  The ambience inside the restaurant is modern but cosy. There is also an outdoor area as well as inside dining with the tables well-spaced. The servers are very attentive and friendly, and the quality and presentation of the food is superior.  UMI has a casual but elevated design and an ambience which works well for couples, friends and families.   

UMI serves both Japanese and Asian cuisine. The Red Snapper Ceviche is delicious and the sushi is of a very high quality and full of flavour, served on a wooden boat. From the mouthwatering Bao Bao buns to the tacos stuffed with beef or chicken, and the sensational uramaki rolls which melt in your mouth, you will definitely find something to suit your fancy. The cocktails are creative and delicious and there is a large selection, and they have an attractive long happy hour!  Great food, with a large diverse choice,  excellent service and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended and a must!
