It’s that time of year again: The Definitive(ly) Good Guide’s yearly survey is out! Want to get involved and help your favourite restaurants gain the recognition they deserve? Then read on for all the details – as well as a look at all the prizes you’ll be in with a chance of winning if you vote.
The Definitive(ly) Good Guide to Restaurants in Malta & Gozo is an annual publication which highlights the current top 150 restaurants around the Maltese islands. It is a guide to help restaurant goers choose the best place to dine at depending on what they are looking for, be it a specific cuisine such as Mediterranean or Asian Fusion, or aspects such as child-friendly restaurants or wheelchair-accessible.
What makes the guide so special? It’s based on YOUR votes!
Casting your votes with our survey is fairly easy, too. The first step is to think back on all the restaurants you’ve dined at over the past year. Next, rank the following aspects of each one: food, service, and ambience. After that, you’ll choose your favourite restaurants in a number of categories: ‘best value for money’, ‘most romantic meal’, ‘best for business entertainment’, etc.
The data will be sent to an independent company for analysis. At this stage, filtering to minimise any chances of cheating and other discrepancies will be carried out. The top 150 restaurants will then be announced at our annual Awards Ceremony, as well as in the guide itself and on our website. Being included in the guide is a testament to a restaurant’s high-quality food and service, and we pride ourselves on its authenticity and fairness.
