King’s Own Band Club Bar & Restaurant

The King’s Own Restaurant is located in Republic Street, Valletta, at street level within the premises of the King’s Own Band Club. This fully-fledged independent restaurant opened three years ago under the aegis of one of the most successful restauranteur families in Malta. In 1901 it became known as the King’s Own Band Club after receiving Royal consent. Smart, clean-cut décor with blue and white table settings arranged on natural parquet provide a relaxed atmosphere for both lunch and dinner. Al fresco dining is available evenings only in summer on the outside pedestrian pavement area. Service is prompt and courteous.

The main menu offers a selection of Mediterranean and traditional Maltese cuisine including mixed shellfish, tasty scallops, bruschetta, Maltese fish soup as well as a vast selection of pasta dishes including spaghetti with frutti di mare. For mains, choose from freshly caught seasonal fish and seafood including tuna steak, octopus in garlic and the wonderful sea bass al sale. Fine meat dishes include lamb, duck, beef fillet and rib-eye. To finish off your meal, the sherry trifle is highly recommended.
