Sipping a drink and gazing out over neat rows of moored yachts, at One80 Kitchen, you may feel like you have been transported from Gozo to Saint-Tropez! The main dining space, an immaculately glassed-in terrace on the water’s edge of Mgarr Harbour, provides stunning views over the marina to the passing ferries, and distant Comino tower. The styling and branding (linked to the one80 Kitchen lounge in Mellieha) is clean and modern, and the service is equally as slick, with a team of efficient staff in smart casual uniforms moving between the well-spaced tables. The result is chic, but not overly formal, and the venue attracts a very mixed clientele for lunch, dinner, or drinks.

Cocktails and local craft beers are on offer throughout the day, and you’ll find the wine list presented on a computer tablet, allowing you to search by country, grape, or price to identify the perfect choice. To cater for all times of day, One80 Kitchen offers a flexible menu of plated meals, sharing platters for two, and small tapas plates to combine as you wish. You’ll find pasta and risotto options, a vegan dish, lamb and steak cuts, and even a chateaubriand. Being by the sea, there are plenty of shellfish options, including the Seafood Mixed Grill and the 700g Flame Grilled USDA Chateaubriand. Round off your meal with a cheese plate, dessert, homemade ice-cream, or digestif.
