Madliena Lodge Restaurant

Patrons state it's "simply outstanding" with "delicious" food.

Madliena Lodge is located on a hilltop commanding sea views, just a short hop from the northwest of St Julian’s. With generous car parking facilities, it offers a relaxed ambience and an attractive bar area that can comfortably accommodate up to 70 for bespoke private functions. It also has a main restaurant area merged seamlessly into the original old building where fireside and balcony seats are in demand during the winter months. In the summer, diners enjoy a substantial outdoor terrace area. Managed by Alessio and his enthusiastic and professional young team, Madliena Lodge delivers a refreshing and original vision of gastronomic quality and experience to its guests.

The exciting range of dishes tempts the palate and does not disappoint. Starters includes Smoked Fish & Potato Beignets and a Fresh Cavatelli Pasta, the Beef Carpacio, or the seasonal soup of the day. Mains are equally inviting and reflect the availability of seasonal produce, so each visit offers the possibility of new discoveries. The Braised Veal Cheeks melt in your mouth and come with roast onion and parsnip mash. Delicious desserts include the Chia Seed Pudding and artisinal ice-creams. Service is discreet, prompt and attentive. With exquisite presentation and very generous portion sizes, a visit to the Madliena Lodge is a must.
