SAMIZU

This restaurant hosts "top flavours" and "trendy, fashionable ambiance".

Not many places can tick all the right boxes, but Samizu does. A gorgeous setting, tasteful design, spectacular food and impeccable service have made Samizu an instant hit within the local foodie circle. Al fresco dining regales with gorgeous views of the Marina di Valletta, complemented by colonial white marble, taupe-hued, velvety armchairs and stylish heaters for when the sea breeze gets chilly. The indoor area is equally stunning with its grey marble feature wall, full-length windows and gentle colour scheme.

The menu at Samizu changes regularly and is always packed with surprises. Breakfast might include gems such as the black pudding toast served on rye with egg mayo, pickled red onion and chives, to be
paired with a Bucks Fizz cocktail. From the lunch and dinner starters, the Vitello Tonnato is a must-have. Mains are as varied as they are amazing — from the house burger to chicken supreme, lamb shoulder, veal rib eye, fish platter and the spectacular Miso Butter-Crusted Cotoletta, paired with a great vintage from the wine list. To conclude, the daily desserts on offer are always a treat.
