"Situated right by the water's edge in Sa Maison with a picturesque setting to complement the dining experience."

Not many places can tick all the right boxes, but Samizu does. a gorgeous setting, tasteful design, spectacular food and impeccable service have made Samizu an instant hit within the local foodie circle. Al fresco dining regales with gorgeous views of the Marina di Valletta, complemented by colonial white marble, taupe-hued, velvety armchairs and stylish heaters for when the sea breeze gets chilly. The indoor area is equally stunning with its grey marble feature wall, full-length windows and gentle colour scheme.

The menu at Samizu changes regularly and is always packed with surprises. Breakfast might include gems such as the black pudding toast served on rye with egg mayo, pickled red onion and chives, to be
paired with a Bucks Fizz cocktail. From the lunch and dinner starters, the seabass ceviche that comes with avocado, coriander, pink peppercorns, salmon roe and a drizzle of olive oil is a must-have. The goat cheese panna cotta with red onion chutney, quince jam, spiced nuts and melba toast, and the risotto cacio e pepe with pecorino cream and black pepper are impressive vegetarian options. Mains
are as varied as they are amazing — from the house burger to chicken supreme, lamb shoulder, veal rib eye, fish platter and the spectacular Samizu meat board to share, paired with a great vintage from the wine list. To conclude, the daily desserts on offer are always a treat.
