TORA

Patrons appreciate the "fantastic food" and consider it to have the "best service in Malta".

Walking into Tora, you immediately feel surrounded by an aura of calm, of time standing still. And the Oriental cuisine on offer blends seamlessly with the ambience of the restaurant. The choice of lighting is measured in a way to let you see where you are going without flooding you with light. At the same time, it allows you to see and savour all you do while sitting, ordering or eating. The bar, with its mixology, is an added feature at Tora where space has been used to seem limitless – even a trip to the restrooms is worth the interruption from your meal. The restaurant is perched over the sea directly facing the enchanting city of Valletta.

With this attention to detail the place might sound intimidating, yet the Tora experience is never overwhelming but very welcoming. No place, service, design or majestic view can be enough without a memorable food experience. The food – the fusion of tastes, the attention to detail – takes the diner on a memorable gastronomic journey. The menu is varied and caters for everyone, including the often-forgotten vegetarians and vegans. The vast menu is well thought out and going through it is quite a joy. The Royal Wasabi Prawns, the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, the Vegetarian Spicy Rolls, the Peking Duck, and the Sweet and Sour Pork are definite standouts. Tora – a soothing delight to all the senses.
